The Top 4 Pro Scooters Under $50
While there are a lot of scooters on the market for $50 or less, that doesn’t mean that they are worth buying. Below is our hand picked list of the best value trick scooter for 50 dollars or less.
#1. Arcade Rogue Stunt Scooter

Topping our list is the Arcade Rogue scooter, this model is unbelievably priced under $50. It is jam packed with features just like the $200 pro scooters. We love the stylish neck design and hollow core style wheels. Other features include a classic T-bar, 100mm wheels, and beautifully illustrated grip tape. Right now, the purple color option is under $50 but other colors are slightly more expensive. The Rogue is by far the best scooter we tested in the segment, it is actually comparable and really better than the Albott Stunt Scooters that retail for $20 more. Available on amazon prime with free shipping
Update: After riding the Arcade scooter for 2 months in the skatepark this scooter is even better than we originally thought. This trick scooter has held up wonderfully with just some slight wheel wear. pro scooters under $50
#2. RipRail Assault Stunt Scooter
[amalinkspro type=”showcase” asin=”B07PBK2FP4″ apilink=”https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PBK2FP4?tag=stuntscootersmart-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1″ new-window=”true” addtocart=”false” nofollow=”true” sc-id=”5″ imgs=”LargeImage” link-imgs=”false” btn-color=”#ff9900″ btn-text=”Buy on Amazon” alignment=”aligncenter” hide-prime=”0″ hide-image=”0″ hide-price=”0″ hide-button=”0″ width=”650″]Riprail Assault Stunt Scooter Finished in Black/Yellow with Alloy Deck and ABEC-7 Bearings[/amalinkspro]
Coming in second place is the RipRail Assault, this pro scooter is the epitome of “big things come in small packages”. We absolutely recommend this stunt scooter for any young entry level riders. It has everything a beginner could ever need, including 100mm wheels with 86A PU. Probably the best feature on this scooter though is the deck. It measures 4.00″ x 19.00″ and is made from 100% aircraft grade aluminum. You might now have ever heard of the brand RipRail but it is a brand from the group Hyper, who have been designing and manufacturing bicycles for the last decade. They carry this experience into the trick scooter segment, at first glance my kids thought the scooter was good quality but prefer the aforementioned Arcade Rogue. Available on amazon prime with free shipping
#3. Pulse Performance Products KR2 Freestyle Scooter
[amalinkspro type=”showcase” asin=”B012NOTP3I” apilink=”https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012NOTP3I?tag=stuntscootersmart-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1″ new-window=”true” addtocart=”false” nofollow=”true” sc-id=”5″ imgs=”LargeImage” link-imgs=”false” btn-color=”#ff9900″ btn-text=”Buy on Amazon” alignment=”aligncenter” hide-prime=”0″ hide-image=”0″ hide-price=”0″ hide-button=”0″ width=”650″]Pulse Performance Products KR2 Freestyle Scooter – Beginner Kick Pro Scooter for Kids – Blue[/amalinkspro]
The third place scooter is the Pulse KR2 Scooter, this is actually the cheapest scooter on the list coming in at under $40! However, this Pulse scooter lacks the features of the 2 models listed above it. First off there isn’t a boxed deck, the neck design is plain tube, and graphically the scooter is very plain. Even with all of these underwhelming features at under $40 the Pulse KR2 is still viable option when it comes to value.
I’ve seen this scooter in person as one of my neighbors children has it, and while it doesn’t compare to the Arcade Rogue it is rideable and seems to have held up under regular use. If all you have is 40 bucks then grab this scooter and make your kids smile. Available on amazon prime with free shipping.
#4. Viro Rides VR 230 Attitude Stunt Scooter
[amalinkspro type=”showcase” asin=”B07Q2N5V6T” apilink=”https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2N5V6T?tag=stuntscootersmart-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1″ new-window=”true” addtocart=”false” nofollow=”true” sc-id=”5″ imgs=”LargeImage” link-imgs=”false” btn-color=”#ff9900″ btn-text=”Buy on Amazon” alignment=”aligncenter” hide-prime=”0″ hide-image=”0″ hide-price=”0″ hide-button=”0″ width=”650″]Viro Rides VR 230 Attitude Stunt Scooter, Teal[/amalinkspro]
The last cheap option we’ll consider is the Viro Rides VR230 model, this trick scooter is a decent option for kid wanting to ride about the neighborhood and MAYBE do a few stunts. It does feature a lightweight aluminum frame, BMX-style handlebars, stacked quadruple clamp, and probably the best component are the wheels! The VR230 actually has real aluminium core 100mm wheels, these are the type of pro scooter wheels you might find on $120 models.
Out of every scooter in this guide this one shockingly has the best bearing/wheel combo. For only $43 this scooter delivers solid performance but this isn’t a true pro scooter. For a young beginning rider it will certainly get the job done. Available on amazon prime with free shipping

Cheap Pro Scooter Buyers Guide
Don’t know what to look for when buying a pro scooter? Well, keep reading as we walk you through what makes a stunt scooter different from a traditional kick scooter.
Handlebars
If its the first time you’ll have seen a pro stunt scooter, maybe right away you’ll notice the different the handlebar style. While the average Razor kick scooter will have a flimsy feeling, adjustable handlebar. Stunt scooters will typically have fixed non adjustable bars, this serves as a safety feature as collapsing bars would very dangerous will performing certain scooter tricks like bri-whips or buttercups.
Deck
A stunt scooters deck will be very different from the scooters you might be used to seeing, the main difference is the “boxed” deck. What this means is the deck is welded with interior ribs for added strength and durability. Make sure the scooter complete you decide to buy features a boxed style deck, if you don’t see a boxed deck then you aren’t getting a pro scooter.
Wheels
Wheel materials will be quite different when comparing a regular kick scooter complete with that of a pro scooter or stunt scooter. While the traditional scooter will feature wheels that are plastic, the higher end scooters will almost always feature real metals often times aluminum. Wheel size is another factor that should be considered. Entry level scooters will feature 100mm wheels and higher end models will have 110mm and sometimes 120mm wheels.
Final Thoughts

You cant go wrong with this scooter as it delivers many of the same specs as much more expensive scooters.” btn-color=”#ff9900″ btn-text=”Buy on Amazon” alignment=”alignnone” hide-prime=”0″ hide-image=”0″ hide-price=”0″ hide-button=”0″ width=”750″]Arcade Rogue Pro Scooter (Purple)[/amalinkspro]
What I want to make sure I emphasize in this buyers guide is NOT ALL PRO SCOOTERS ARE CREATED EQUAL. By no means are these scooters REAL pro scooters, but for $50 or less they emulate what a real stunt scooter will do much better than a scooter like the Razor A2. All of the scooters on this list can be taken to the skatepark and ridden down the ramps and through the bowls. However, I would not recommend these for doing any rail grinds, or flips.
Hopefully, this guide makes your buying decision a little easier when deciding which trick scooter to buy. Remember to scrutinize the trick scooter complete you’re considering thoroughly to ensure you get some the basic features like the boxed deck, fixed bars, and 100mm wheels.
